Georgia Seitz made it this year! It was nice to see her feeling/looking good and enjoying the weekend with everyone.
Thursday evening started with a resin class from Mike Lyon. We made pendents using 2-part resin. Not difficult at all. Enjoyed the evening and all pendents looked nice. I made Marie Smith's angel using 2-strands of embroidery floss.
Friday I was in Bonnie Swank's Nina's Beanile Lace Grape Earrings class. Need to put findings on and they will be complete.
The Online Tatting class held a live YouTube interview with Georgia Seitz in the afternoon. It was a great way to be asking questions one on one with her. Glad to have so many join in the live stream. If you were not able to make it or did not know about it, click on link and watch the interview. Might be surprized at some of her answers.
Live auction was held in the evening. There was plenty of laughs and entertainment for everyone.
Saturday was the Beaded Medallion in a Bangle by Melissa Deputy. Nice and easy pattern. Also had a class by Bonnie for Nina's Beanile Lace One Strip Bracelet. It is almost complete. It will match the earrings.
Banquet was held Saturday evening. Rest of the evening was used to relax, catchup with tatting friends, decorating shuttles, and finishing projects.
Lack of sleep also was part of the weekend. However, I now have a year to recoup and get ready for 2022!
Sounds like a wonderful event.
ReplyDeleteIt was. Good to see fellow tatters and meet new ones as well.
ReplyDeleteI did watch the video on YouTube with Georgia Seitz, it was wonderful. Glad you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteUm, Phyllis...I'm going to toot your horn on that lovely Stawasz doily of yours winning Best of Show. Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are some beautiful projects. When I get the paint out of my hair I'll have to whip out that pattern cd and give it a whirl!
Thank you. I am going to toot back and let you know that it was used as a centerpiece for the live interview with Georgia. It was seen all over the world! I was an honor that I was asked if it could be used.
