It was cool in North Carolina. Day 1 is in the books.
The blue motif is called Starburst - a Dora Young Adaptation. It is done in two colors of blue. Picture does not do it justice. The middle light blue has specks of the darker blue created by lock joins. Will probably redo in more contrasting colors.
Next class was Chain Maille. This is a technique were you join to jump rings. I decided to make pink earrings.
Sharren's Angels is the pattern I used for these angels. 4 are Lizbeth New Metallic on cones. Colors are Patriotic, Iridescent, Frosted Pastel and Icy Blue. The colors are beautiful. The other angel is made from a sample of Lizbeth Twist.
Auction is always the highlight of the weekend. Sometimes battle lines are made and the bids get a little out of hand. All in all, and all in fun, it is a joyous evening with proceeds going to the Tat Days scholarship fund.
